Brussels

(17.10.2003 - 20.10.2003)

Brussels was another European picturesque city, complete with ornate, intricately carved buildings, with large grand city squares, accordion players on the street, really good beer, and fine dining. We were only here for a few days, and a good portion of that time was devoted to I LOVE TECHNO in Gent, just a 40-minute train ride away. People in Brussels were generally pretty friendly, and we met some good people there, including the guys in Silo, a record shop that is very involved in the local parties there, including Fuse and Silo parties. Special thanks also to Donna and Olivier who bought us our I LOVE TECHNO tickets for us in advance, and for introducing us to some really good Belgian beer!
